The Barcelona SPR local arrangements committee is excited to invite colleagues from around the world to take part in the Society for Psychotherapy Research 2008 International meeting June 18-21 in Barcelona.

Barcelona is well known as an important cultural centre and a major tourist destination for travelers from all over the world. Its higher education system includes five major Universities, most of them with a Department of Psychology, that attract many local and foreign students because of their renowned research and teaching.

Because of its many attractions, Barcelona is also a city where many psychotherapy congresses have been organized in the last decades. Among them, major international congresses of Family Therapy, Behavioural and Cognitive Therapy, Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy and Psychotherapy Integration to name just a few.

The meeting is sponsored by the Facultat de Psicologia i Ciències de l’Educació i de l’Esport Blanquerna (Ramon Llull University).
