We encourage you to make this a weekend! We have negotiated a significantly reduced nightly rate for attendees staying at the Holiday Inn Resort. The special rate ($109.00 USD per room, per night, plus 7% sales tax and 4% occupancy tax) is in effect for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights (10/27, 10/28, and 10/29). *Note: New York-based attendees with tax exempt status (e.g., using a state university travel card) will be exempt from additional room taxes upon verification of tax exempt status.

How to reserve a room (two options):

(1)    You can make a reservation by phone by calling the front desk directly at: 518-668-5781. When you speak to a representative, provide your dates needed and the name of our group, which is: Department of Psychology Rooms. This will allow you to book at the reduced rate.

(2)    Book through the hotel website:

  • Enter your dates under “Choose Quick Reservation”
  • Select “Check Availability” on the next page
  • On the left side of the next page, you will have the option to enter the group code. Click on "Group Code", enter DEP in the box that appears, and click "Apply"

    Onsite registration/check in table will be located near the entrance to the Prospect Room. Continental breakfast will be provided starting at 8:30AM in the Prospect Room.

Registration fee covers the cost of: methods workshop, continental breakfast, deli lunch buffet, and a post-workshop happy hour beverage (4:30PM-5:30PM). Weather permitting, we will gather around the outdoor fire pit.
