History
NASPR is the North American Chapter of the Society for Psychotherapy Research. This Chapter was founded in 1989. NASPR is a nonprofit, international, and multidisciplinary scientific association devoted to research on psychotherapy. It supports
the development of the psychotherapy knowledge base by stimulating communication among researchers through scientific meetings, online discussions, and publications in the SPR journal, Psychotherapy Research. NASPR welcomes researchers
and psychotherapists of varied professions, levels of professional development, and theoretical orientations who are interested in the scientific study of psychotherapy.
